SIMULAREA NUMERICA A CICLULUI TERMODINAMIC AL UNUI COMPRESOR ERMETIC CU PISTON

Abstract: The development of tnore efficicnt compressor for refrigeration ir.volves a sound analysis ofthe therma! and fluid-dynamic hehaviour ofthe machine. The article focuses on the unstcady-state anatysis ofthe compression cycle of a hermetic reciprocating compressor. A onc degree offreedom valve motioti has been tmpletnented. The simulat ion computer code has an iterative structuri. Input values are set for the refrigeram properties, boundary conditioiis and the geometrical data of the hermetic unit. The final output results include refrigerau', discharge temperature, heat, work and mass flow rates, compressor efficiencies and the hehaviour ofeaeh characteristic parameter during the thermodynamic cycle. The compressor performances, for the different working fluids agree well with the technical data of the manufacturer.
