INSTALLATION OF LOW NOx BURNERS AT 100 MW UNITS OF BUCHAREST SOUTH THERMAL POWER PLANT

Rezumat: Termocentralele produc emisii ca: NOx, SO2, CO2, care au impact negativ asupra mediului inconjurator, fiind in contradictie cu legislatia de protectie a mediului. Exista o serie de metode care pot fi folosite pentru scaderea emisiilor poluante. Acest articol trateaza introducerea arzatoarelor cu NOx redus la grupurile energetice nr.3 si 4 de la CET Bucuresti Sud. Se prezinta proiectul de reabilitare din anii 2000,arzatoarele cu NOx redus si principiul de functionare al acestora. S-a aratat ca un boiler existent poate fi reabilitat,asfel incat sa-si prelungeasca functionarea in mod curat si sigur inca 150.000 ore. In final, s-au dat valorile obtinute la testele de performanta, care au demonstrat rezultate corespunzatoare in privinta reducerii emisiilor poluante, la regimul de incarcare 100% al grupurilor energetice.

Abstract: The thermal power plants are generated emissions like: NOx, SO2, CO2, which have a negative impact on the environment, in contrast to environmental law. There are a number of methods which can be used to reduce the pollutant emissions. This paper is focusing on the low NOx burners installation at units nb.3 and 4 of Bucharest South Thermal Power Plant. It is presented the rehabilitation project of 2000 years, the low NOx burners and their operating principle. It was shown that an existing boiler can be retrofitted in order to increase the operating life in a clean and safe way, with 150,000 hours. Finally, there were given the emissions values of the performance tests, which proved proper results concerning the decreasing of the pollutant emissions, at 100% units load.
